New Rehearsal Info

As the performance week for Oh What a Lovely War! approaches we will begin rehearsing on Sundays as well. This extra time enables the cast to consolidate what has been rehearsed so far and to put further time into rehearsing large sections of the piece. Nearer the performance week there will also be greater opportunities for rehearsing with lighting, set, costume, props, sound and the band.

Rehearsals will start at 10.00am prompt and finish at 3.00pm. Students need to be dressed in suitable clothing and bring a packed lunch and snacks. It is vitally important to bring lots of water to drink – many students often forget and this greatly affects their energy levels in rehearsal. As happens at present, some students may only be needed for a certain part of the rehearsal; this information will be passed onto students as soon as possible and also published on the NIPA website.

The site is also used to pass on information in general about the performance and all students need to check it regularly. In the coming weeks we will begin collecting costumes and props – again all information will be put on the NIPA website.

Attached is an updated rehearsal schedule for both Wednesday and Sunday rehearsals – please check carefully. If your son/daughter is unable to attend a rehearsal can they please inform a member of the team at least 24 hours beforehand – this allows us to make changes to the rehearsal plan if needed.

Tickets will be on sale towards the end of November and this will be publicised via the school newsletter and website. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support of your son/daughter’s involvement in the production.
