Bristol Hippodrome, 9th October 

Nearly 70 staff students and their families enjoyed a toe tapping performance of the 1933 musical 42nd Street. The show was brimming with glitz, glamour and sequins, and contained many songs that students had come across in more modern guises.

Many BTEC Performing Arts students study musical theatre as part of their course, and this production gave them a very good insight into the beginnings of musical theatre in America in the early 20th century.

All students are to be congratulated on their exemplary behaviour as commented on by members of the audience.
